In NGR 2.0, LSP will make use of the equipment, team and platform established in 2022/2023, to investigate and develop methods to support the efficient production of larger volumes of the naval drones with robotized methods for composite materials. In particular, the investigation and developments will focus on robotized handling and layup of composite plies into moulds, robotized marking of composite parts to support outfitting, robot support for flexible mould machining and/or provision.

The aim of the project is to investigate and develop experimental methods and equipment for the handling of composite materials in Tuco’s naval drone case to implement more mature solutions closer to the market. The ambition is to ensure the mobilization of companies in the Danish ecosystem for robots and drones, targeting the lighthouse’s three strengths, LSP, advanced drones and autonomous coastal shipping.
